SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI — Trump endorsed John James today released a powerful new statewide television and digital ad warning that the greatest threat facing America is no longer coming from overseas. It’s the radical socialist movement that has taken over today’s Democratic Party.
James showcases how the Democrat Party Americans once knew has been taken over by extremists who support defunding the police, twisting the minds and bodies of children, releasing violent criminals back onto the streets, sympathizing with terrorists, allowing illegals to vote, and putting illegal immigrants ahead of American citizens through taxpayer-funded Medicaid benefits while opposing commonsense election integrity measures.

THE THREAT IS NO LONGER FROM OVERSEAS
John James knows what it means to confront extremism. A West Point graduate, Ranger-qualified Apache combat pilot, and Iraq War veteran with more than 750 combat flight hours, James fought extremists overseas who sought to destroy America through violence.
Now, he says, Michigan must confront a different kind of extremism before it does lasting damage at home.
As Governor, John James will restore public safety by backing law enforcement, protect children by putting parents back in charge of education, secure Michigan’s elections so only U.S. Citizens vote, ban sanctuary cities, and defend the freedoms and values that have made America the greatest nation in the world.
John James is assembling the largest coalition for Governor in Michigan history. President Donald J. Trump has endorsed John James, and the state’s two largest law enforcement organizations, the Fraternal Order of Police of Michigan and the Police Officers Association of Michigan, are standing with him. Michigan icons Kid Rock and Ted Nugent have also joined the coalition, alongside former Attorney General Mike Cox, State Senate Republican Leader Aric Nesbitt, and former State House Speaker Tom Leonard, each of whom ran against James for Governor before dropping out and endorsing him.
With the Republican primary entering its final stretch, James remains focused on uniting Republicans, earning every vote, and building the coalition needed to defeat Jocelyn Benson and the radical left in November.
