Mission First People Always Tour
“For too long, Lansing has looked the other way while waste, fraud, and abuse chew up taxpayer dollars that families could use in their own pockets,” James said.

Michigan should be a place where hard work still wins, parents have a say, communities are safe, and the government remembers who it works for—so families can buy a home, start a business, and know their kids are safe, learning, and healthy. The Mission First People Always Tour reflects James’ leadership philosophy shaped by military service and business experience: focus on the mission, take care of people, and deliver real results.
At each stop, John will host small-group conversations with local families, students, skilled trades, and small business owners to discuss real-world challenges and solutions.
A West Point graduate, Ranger‑qualified Apache pilot, combat veteran, businessman, and lifelong Michigander, James’s Freedom Agenda will focus on restoring economic mobility, raising academic excellence, reinforcing public safety, protecting taxpayer dollars, and ensuring kids and families are healthy enough to thrive for generations.
