Gas Tax: While John James has consistently called for suspending both the state and federal gas tax, Jocelyn Benson spent months telling Michigan families it would hurt them. Now facing political heat she has conveniently changed her mind and unfortunately Michigan families are still waiting on Lansing Democrats to act, just like they have been waiting on them to fix everything else for the past eight years.
Michigan’s Failing Economy: Michigan has lost hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs under Democrat leadership and young people are leaving the state they love because they have no choice. John James has a plan to cut taxes, lower energy costs and make Michigan a place where the next generation can stay, succeed and build a life.
John James’s Affordability Plan: John James believes you deserve leaders who will use their power to lower the cost of gas, groceries, energy, and housing, including suspending the state and federal gas tax to give you relief at the pump.
